Food Service

We would like to welcome students to the Berkshire Hills Regional School District’s Food Service Program.  All of our schools offer a nutritious breakfast and lunch every day.  We continue our commitment to high quality food, in line with the District’s Wellness Policy (as well as all state and federal guidelines), and with the knowledge that good nutrition is important to the ability to learn.  Please review our menus on-line at www.bhrsd.org.  (Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, the menu may be subject to change).

In addition to the choices listed on our monthly menu, additional lunch choices available daily include:  fresh deli sandwiches or sunbutter and jelly.

All lunches include an 8 oz. 1% low-fat milk or fat-free chocolate milk.  All lunches include fresh fruits and vegetables which vary daily.  Fruits include: apples, bananas, oranges, pears, strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, watermelon, plums, peaches, grapes, mango and kiwi.  Vegetables include: broccoli, squash, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, celery, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes.  All pastas, breads and rolls are whole grain or whole wheat.

If you have any questions regarding the menu, allergy concerns or any other food-related issues, please contact Kathy Sullivan, Director of Food Service at 413-644-2325 or 855-255-8666 or by email at kathy.sullivan@bhrsd.org.
